Looking After Your Tattoo

Once your tattoo is completed, it will be covered with Bepanthen Cream.

Some time within the first hour, wash the tattoo with Warm/Hot water.  You may choose to wash with an antibacterial soap such as Softwash Antibacterial wash or Sapoderm Soap.  Rinse well and pat dry gently with a towel.

Reapply a thin layer of Bepanthen cream immediately.

For the first two days keep the tattoo covered with Bepanthen.

After the first 2 days, simply rub a small amount of Bepanthen cream into the area often for two weeks, making sure your tattoo never looks dry.

To avoid any problems during the healing process, make sure your tattoo doesnt come into contact with any dirty surfaces (Clothes, sheets, furniture) or somebody else's body fluids.  Always wash hands before rubbing cream into your tattoo.

NO Swimming (Pool, spa, river, ocean) for TWO weeks.
NO Direct sunlight on tattoo for TWO Weeks
